1926-1931

In 1926 Morris Commercial announced a touring car version of their six-wheeled D Type lorry called the TD Type. They utilised the same 15.9 hp engine as the lorries and for an extra £15, tracks to fit over the rear wheels could be supplied allowing it to climb gradients of one in two.

A new car was announced in 1931, the 6D was a new design with little in common with the TD Type.

Fewer than 25 Morris Commercial cars were made and most went into Government and War Office service and it is not thought that any survive.
