The Lewis Ordnance Manufacturing Company was registered on the 29th May 1922 and included among its shareholders, Captain Ashworth Barlow and Aubrey John Graham-Wigan. (See Wigan-Barlow.)

The Lewis light car had an air-cooled 10 hp MAG twin-cylinder engine and may have originally been the Abbey. In 1923 it was being advertised as being manufactured by Abbey Industries Ltd, Abbey Wood Works, London SE2.

No examples have survived.
